Types of Praise Dance

Praise Dance is one of the standards in the order of many church services today. Nowadays all praise dance incorporates different forms of dance such as jazz, modern, ballet, and hip hop. We should dance     according to our calling.
MIME PRAISE – We are expressing an idea in our action without saying any word. The movement is very specific to use in order to engage the audience in the story. Mime praise is done with the traditional white face paint and every dancer can create their own special facial expression.

HIP HOP PRAISE – Using hip hop and street dance moves to praise God.

RHYTHMIC PRAISE- Uses various accessories such as tambourines, ribbon, laurel, tabrets, flags, mantles, and streamers to perform various dances.

PROPHETIC PRAISE / WORSHIP -   Now you are ready to give your vessel to the Holy Spirit and allow the anointing to flow freely through you.

When we are in dancing for the Lord, we are dancing in a whole new world. The dancer, carrier of the “sights of God”; the musicians, the carrier of the “sounds of God”; and the preacher, the carrier of the Word of God. Every one of us have different talents, have different calling from God.
